Nectar is elemental handmade jewellery offering rooted in earth, water and metal.

Each piece is shaped slowly by hand using brass, copper, stone, and natural materials. The jewellery is made on stone, with simple tools, careful attention, and a deep love for the imperfect beauty of handmade work.

Nectar was born between rivers.

Its story begins around the meeting places of Two Rivers and Salt River – landscapes shaped by water, earth, silt, salt, stone and movement. These places carry a feeling of convergence: where different streams meet, where old ground is softened, where something raw becomes something new.

That spirit lives inside the work.

Nectar pieces are not made to feel factory-perfect. They are made to feel alive. Each curve, mark, hammer texture and organic shape carries the touch of the maker. The jewellery is inspired by riverbeds, ritual adornment, medicinal metals, ancient ornaments, desert flowers, shells, seeds, bones, moons and the quiet intelligence of the natural world.

These are pieces for everyday ritual – small adornments reminding us we are home.

From September, you can also find Nectar at the Knysna Night Market on Friday nights, where selected handmade pieces will be available in person.
